Terms of Service

1. Who we are

CargoPlug (“the Plugin”, “the Service”) is developed and provided by VIDEOSPACE Sp. z o.o., a company registered in Poland, VAT ID: PL7861718889 (“we”, “us”, “the Vendor”). You can contact us at contact@cargo-plug.com.

2. The Plugin

CargoPlug is a plugin for WordPress and WooCommerce that integrates an online store with the Raben TMS (Transport Management System) carrier platform, allowing the creation of consignment notes, printing of shipping labels, and tracking of shipment statuses.

Use of the Plugin additionally requires, at your own cost and responsibility: a working WordPress and WooCommerce installation meeting the minimum version requirements published by us, an active commercial agreement and EDI access credentials issued to you by the Raben Group, and, optionally, third-party services you choose to connect (for example PrintNode for automatic label printing). We are not a party to your agreement with Raben or with any other third party.

3. Ordering and payments

Licenses are sold through Freemius, Inc., acting as our reseller and merchant of record. Freemius processes the payment, issues the invoice, and manages license keys and subscriptions. By completing a purchase you also accept the Freemius Terms of Use and Privacy Policy. We never see or store your payment card details.

4. Plans, subscriptions and renewals

• The Plugin is offered in subscription plans (billed monthly or annually) that differ in the number of shipments that may be created per billing month and in the scope of support. Current plans and limits are shown on cargo-plug.com and at checkout.
• Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand. You can cancel at any time from the Freemius User Dashboard or by contacting us; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period.
• A free trial, where offered, converts to nothing and simply expires unless you purchase a plan. Trial availability, length and scope may be changed or withdrawn at any time.
• Shipment limits are counted per billing month per licensed site. Unused shipments do not carry over.

5. Price changes

We may change the prices of plans at any time, including increasing them. A price change never applies retroactively to a period you have already paid for. For active subscriptions, the new price applies starting from the next renewal; where required by law, we will notify you (via the email address associated with your license) before a renewal at an increased price. If you do not accept the new price, your sole remedy is to cancel the subscription before the renewal date. Continued renewal after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price. Promotional prices, discounts and coupons are temporary and create no entitlement to the same price in future periods.

6. License

• The Plugin’s PHP code is licensed under the GNU General Public License v2 (or later), as required for WordPress derivative works. Independently of the GPL, access to updates, license activation, premium functionality gated by plan, and support are contractual services provided only for the duration of an active, paid subscription.
• A license key may be activated on the number of production websites stated for your plan at purchase. Staging and local development copies of the same site do not count where automatically recognized.
• You may not resell, sublicense, share or publish your license key, use one key for multiple unrelated businesses, or misrepresent modified copies of the Plugin as the original. “CargoPlug” and our logo are our trade designations and may not be used without permission. Raben and Raben TMS are trademarks of their respective owners; we are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the Raben Group.

7. Updates and compatibility — your responsibility

We release updates of the Plugin at our discretion, including compatibility, security and bug-fix releases. Updates are delivered through the built-in update mechanism to sites with an active license.

Installing updates is solely your responsibility. We accept no liability whatsoever for malfunction, errors, data issues, failed or incorrect shipments, or any other damage arising from the use of an outdated version of the Plugin, or from your failure to install an available update. Likewise, we do not guarantee that any given version of the Plugin will remain compatible with future versions of WordPress, WooCommerce, PHP, other plugins or themes, or with changes to the Raben TMS interface, made after that version was released. You are responsible for testing updates (of the Plugin and of your platform) on a staging environment before applying them to a production store.

8. Third-party services and carrier relationship

The Plugin transmits data to and depends on systems operated by third parties, in particular the Raben TMS platform. We have no control over, and accept no responsibility for: the availability, response times, errors or changes of the Raben TMS or other third-party APIs; the acceptance, pricing, execution, delay, loss of or damage to any physical shipment; decisions of the carrier, including rejection of consignments; or the accuracy of tracking statuses supplied by the carrier. All carriage of goods is performed exclusively under your contract with the carrier.

9. Support

Support is provided in English and Polish, by email, on business days, for the current version of the Plugin, and only for plans that include support. Support covers the operation of the Plugin itself; it does not include general WordPress/WooCommerce administration, server configuration, custom development, or intervention in your Raben account. We aim to respond promptly but do not guarantee response or resolution times unless expressly stated in your plan.

10. Refunds

Refunds are handled in accordance with the money-back guarantee stated at checkout. To request a refund, contact us at contact@cargo-plug.com or use the Freemius User Dashboard. Renewal charges may be refunded only where required by applicable law. Nothing in this section limits rights that consumers or entrepreneurs treated as consumers have under mandatory law.

11. Acceptable use

You may not use the Plugin in violation of law, to send false or misleading shipment data, to interfere with or overload our or third parties’ systems, or to attempt to circumvent license validation or plan limits. We may suspend license services in the event of a serious or repeated breach of these Terms, without prejudice to other remedies.

12. Disclaimer of warranties

The Plugin is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement, to the maximum extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that the Plugin will be error-free or uninterrupted, that it will meet your requirements, or that it will be compatible with your specific environment or with any future third-party software or services.

13. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law: (a) we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, loss of profits, loss of revenue, loss of data, or business interruption; (b) we are not liable for damages resulting from causes described in Sections 7 and 8 (outdated versions, missing updates, third-party and carrier issues); and (c) our total aggregate liability arising out of or related to the Plugin is limited to the amount you actually paid to us (via Freemius) for the Plugin in the 12 months preceding the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations do not apply to liability that cannot be limited under mandatory law (including willful misconduct) and do not limit the statutory rights of consumers.

14. Modification and discontinuation of the Plugin

We reserve the right to modify, limit, or completely discontinue the development, distribution, sale and support of the Plugin at any time. Where reasonably possible, we will announce discontinuation in advance on cargo-plug.com or by email. If we permanently discontinue the Plugin during a period you have already paid for, your sole and exclusive remedy is a pro-rata refund of the prepaid, unused portion of your subscription. Copies of the Plugin already installed remain usable under the GPL, but without updates, license services or support.

15. Changes to these Terms

We may amend these Terms from time to time, for example to reflect changes in law, in the Plugin, or in our business. The current version is always published at cargo-plug.com with its effective date. Material changes affecting active subscriptions will be notified by email before taking effect at the next renewal. If you do not accept amended Terms, you may cancel the subscription before the renewal date.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of Poland, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions of the country of your habitual residence. Disputes will be resolved by the competent common courts; for business customers, the court competent for our registered office. Consumers in the EU may also use the alternative dispute resolution bodies available to them.
